Alpaca Degrade by Lang
A light to wear, colorful yarn with an exceptionally long color repeat. Brushed Alpaca is a soft alternative to mohair, and there is just enough wool and nylon to minimize shedding. This is a fabulous opportunity to let the yarn do all the work: stitch patterning is not appropriate for this multi-color, fuzzy yarn. Unusual directional knitting such as entrelac, though, could be extremely effective. The beautiful Lang colors are so appealing, and will create a garment or afghan that will be a favorite.
- 70% Alpaca, 15% New Wool, 15% Nylon
- 25g is about 147 yards
- Recommended needle size is US 6-8 (4-5 mm)
- Gauge is about 18 stitches and 27 rows in 4" (10 cm)
- Hand wash, lay flat to dry, or dry clean.

Giulia by Lang
What a stunning year-round yarn! This rayon yarn is a knitted construction, with just enough nylon in it for some visual texture. Not too hot-- rayon yarn is great for warmer climates or all year round in the office. Easy to knit, it won't hang up on itself or your needles. Great for crochet too.
50 gram balls contain about 82 yards each, and the gauge is 4 stitches per inch on #9 needles, making this an Aran weight rayon yarn. Very classy, it's not too drapey so it's good for stitch patterning, and there are several colors that are suitable for men.
A long sleeved women's sweater with 40" bust will take about 14-15 balls.

Machine washable 100% merino wool in worsted weight. This is a great all-purpose yarn with a nice firm twist--the softness comes from the fine quality merino rather than an airy spin. You will not be disappointed!!

Amalfi by Lang
What a great look and feel in yarn introduced by Lang. It is honestly "something completely different!" This yarn is a solid cotton core, wrapped with shiny nylon, giving both comfort in warm weather plus just a hint of glitz.
It has a lot of body to it, so it looks like shiny silk without all the drapey, saggy-ness of silk. I have swatched it myself, and washed it, and it gets a bit softer, but is still firm enough to hold the design features of more structured patterns. At the same time it will produce a great lacy fabric!
- 70% combed Cotton, 30% Nylon
- 18 stitches & 25 rows = 4 inches
- US 7-8 needles (4.5-5 mm)
- 50 gram ball is about 99 yards (90m)
- Hand wash, dry flat, do not use fabric softener
- Woman's medium (36") long sleeved pullover takes approximately 400 g (8 balls)

Explore a new frontier in your knitting and crochet with this multi-colored, multi-textured yarn that has no discernible repeat. Uneven striping results from plain knitting, but this yarn really shines when used in multi-directional knitting, including mitered squares, entrelac, and diagonal pieces. Your imagination is the only limit!
Frontier is a soft and snuggly wool blend of 52% wool and 49% acrylic, and every ball contains portions that are solids, marls, thin and thick. Knits up quickly to an Aran gauge of 4 st to the inch on US 10 needles. Hand wash cold, dry cleaning is recommended. A 50 gram ball is about 115 yards.

Forest Dew Exotic Fiber Blend — Aran Weight
Another fantastic creation from Lotus Yarns! This elegant yarn is a heavenly blend of angora, merino wool, tencel, and cashmere. So soft and light it is hard to believe. The colors are rich and true.
One 50g ball of Forest Dew Aran has 96 yards, and will knit up quickly on US 8 needles (5mm) in your favorite worsted weight pattern. Although the blend has 30% merino, there is very little elasticity in this yarn, so it drapes beautifully and is light enough to hold a rib pattern. Treat it as a vegetable fiber, and do swatch for accurate measurements.

- 96 yards (~88m)
- Hand wash, lay flat to dry
- Use US 8 needles (5mm) for a solid fabric
